The HomeAire exclusive Active Dampness Control (ADC) System is only available for installation in new homes while under construction or in recently built homes with ADC-ready construction.* The system includes a prescribed foundation and basement floor construction as detailed in the ADC schematic. Additionally, ADC requires ductwork of PVC piping and an active inline fan that ventilates the foundation and the soil surrounding your home to complete the system. The HomeAire ADC fan runs continuously, for only pennies a day, drawing air through the soil and through the crushed stone layer underneath the basement floor. As the air is drawn through the soil, moisture and other soil gasses, such as radon, are harvested and exhausted harmlessly above the roof of your home.
